I have been playing in my studio with some mixed media items. I have been a collector of so many papers, embellishments, sprays, copics, gelatos. I am really on a mission to use up my stash and have been significantly decreasing my spending on new supplies just so that I am forced to use up the beautiful things I have collected.
This was a page I had a lot of fun creating. It started with the white background (watercolor paper) which I sprayed with some Dylusion and Heidi Swapp sprays and used some old Stampin'Up stencils. From there I picked my photo (from last summer in Italy with family) and then worked up the embellishments. I must say that I really loved working with stencils...they are super versatile. The title "summer" was a title that I originally had created for another page and later decided to go with something else. Like so many embellishments or titles that I create and do not use, I always save them and I am so glad I saved this title banner because it really worked well for this layout.
